About the Role
Cache Energy is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Public Relations Intern to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in public relations within a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment. The intern will support our PR efforts by assisting with media relations, content creation, social media management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and editing press releases, media alerts, pitches, and other PR
materials. - Conduct media research to identify relevant journalists, publications, and influencers.
- Monitor media coverage and compile reports on PR campaign effectiveness.
- Support social media content creation and scheduling across various platforms.
- Help organize and execute PR events, virtual webinars, and conferences.
- Maintain and update media contact databases.
- Assist with internal communications initiatives as needed.
- Research industry trends and competitor PR activities.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their use in PR.
- Excellent research and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior internship experience in PR or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Passion for sustainable energy or technology is a plus.
