Full Stack Developer Intern

Ensaras, Inc. is using the latest advanced analytics and artificial intelligence tools to help treat and preserve the
world’s most precious resource: Water. The leadership team includes experts in wastewater treatment, process
engineering, data science, and artificial intelligence. As a full-stack web developer, the intern will help wastewater facilities to
optimize their treatment using data-driven solutions.

About the Role

Ensaras is looking for a talented, passionate, and hardworking full stack web developer, who thrives as a self-starter in a
start-up setting. As a key member of the development team, the intern will play a crucial role in designing, implementing,
and maintaining high-performance web applications. The intern will work on projects that involve Python, JavaScript, AWS,
PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, React, Django, and Blockchain. The intern will be expected to follow the agile software development
process.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define software requirements.
• Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications.
• Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
• Build and maintain back-end services and APIs using Python, Django, and other relevant frameworks.
• Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of our applications.
• Optimize and fine-tune database queries and schema designs.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud services, including EC2, ECS, ECR, and RDS.
• Integrate and work with time series databases such as InfluxDB.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development.

Requirements

• Minimum 20 hours/week commitment, available to start in Summer 2025.
• Currently pursuing M.S. in computer science or related fields.
• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Web Developer or Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with Django or similar web frameworks.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, React, or Vue.js.
• Experience working with AWS services.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and time series databases (InfluxDB).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
